Easter, Fish Tacos and Katy Perry VS. Wendy's- 4.20.25
It is time for your favorite newsletter!
Welcome back to another edition of the GCM newsletter!
I hope you all had a lovely week and a beautiful Easter weekend.
This week CNN announced that they don’t hate America, a Senator from Maryland went to El Salvador to save an alleged MS-13 gang member and Katy Perry traveled to space to only then get into an online feud with Wendy’s.
Did you miss the mayhem? Fear not, it’s recap time!
First up, the Blue Origin “astronauts" thought they were going to be media darlings after their 11- minute journey to space.
But alas, their trip was not met with much praise. Instead, it was met with memes!
The amount of ridiculous content this short jaunt generated was nothing short of spectacular.
Taylor and I broke down the girl boss insanity during Monday’s first hour of The Grace Curley Show:
On a serious note, if you watch one video from this week, let it be this one:
Patty Morin, mother of Rachel Morin, spoke at the White House Press Briefing this week about her daughter’s brutal murder at the hands of an illegal alien.
Which leads us to The Best Tweet of the Week. There was no competition…
I was lucky enough to appear on a few different programs to discuss issues ranging from the economy to dogs polluting the climate.

What I was reading this week:
NYPOST: Joe Biden ‘having trouble booking gigs’ with $300K per speech asking price
It’s not just Biden family artwork that’s struggling to sell these days.
Former President Joe Biden’s attempt to bill $300,000 per speaking appearance is finding few takers, The Post has learned — as some of his own former aides say it’s time for the 82-year-old to leave the spotlight for good after reminiscing about “colored kids” Tuesday in his first public address since leaving office.
A source familiar with Biden’s faltering speaking career said that the 46th president’s standard pitch is $300,000 — 25% below Barack Obama’s $400,000 asking price upon leaving office in 2017. (NYPOST, Steven Nelson)
The Best Thing I Ate This Week:
Okay so technically this meal was from LAST week but I can’t stop thinking about these amazing fish tacos from Rocco’s Tacos in FL.
I’m off to watch the Sound of Music and eat a brownie sundae. Have a great week everyone and don’t forget to ask your friends to subscribe.
PS— I made an announcement on the show this week. Here is a cut in case you missed it. (Major shout out to Jon W for clipping this moment and to all the listeners for their well wishes!)
CHUTZPAH: Asking $300K for a Sleepy Joe speech takes a lot of chutzpah. It's crazy. If any college pays Sleepy Joe to make a speech on their campus, President Trump should cut off all Federal funds to that college. I see a stat that only 14% of Americans have $100K in savings. As for the female civilian "astronauts", Christa McAuliffe a civilian teacher died in the Challenger disaster. I thought we learned our lesson back in 1986 allowing civilians to go up in rockets. I guess not. It's hard to fix stupid. The fish tacos really look good. I've got to try them this week. Congrats on the pregnancy. I pray all the best for you and family.
Congratulations!
I am so glad that you are now putting your TV hits in one place so I don't have to search for them. :)
